The NCAR/UCAR virtual Python Tutorial Seminar Series continues Wednesday, July 14, with Dask Part 1 of 2 at 1 p.m. MDT and Dask Part 2 of 2 at the same time on Wednesday, August 11. Details will be posted on the NCAR Earth System Data Science Initiative blog as they become available.

The HPSS tape archive storage system will be taken offline at 4 p.m. MDT on Friday, July 23, a few days earlier than previously planned in advance of the upcoming extended NWSC maintenance downtime. No scheduled downtime: Cheyenne, Casper, GLADE, Campaign Storage, Quasar, or Stratus, Downtime is scheduled for HPSS from 4 p.m. Friday, July 23, to 10 p.m. Wednesday, July 28. This system will go down a little earlier than other equipment that will be unavailable during next week's extended downtime to ensure that all data has a tape copy before the power is shut down.
