Transferring your Cheyenne Core-hours to Derecho

Projects with Cheyenne allocations can now make requests to transfer core-hours to the Derecho system via the ARC portal. The Derecho system will be opening to all users on August 9. To make a transfer request, log into ARC, and select Allocations from the navigation menu. Under “My Allocations,” find the project with the Cheyenne core-hours you want to transfer. Cheyenne has been returned to service

This week’s Cheyenne maintenance activities are complete. The machine was returned to production status ahead of schedule at 1PM Thursday, August 3. Notably, repairs to the InfiniBand high-speed network were performed as well as cooling system maintenance.
