HPC systems maintenance downtime scheduled for March 9-10

NCAR’s HPC resources will be unavailable to users March 9-10 to allow CISL staff and HPE engineers to perform compute and networking infrastructure updates and maintenance. Software updated on Cheyenne and Casper

 Version 2.23 of the MPT MPI library has been installed on the Cheyenne system, and julia/1.5.3 and pnetcdf/1.12.2 have been installed on both Cheyenne and Casper. These will become the default versions at the beginning of February, so users are encouraged to try them out now and update their workflows accordingly.
