Join a virtual seminar about Jupiter's inner magnetosphere

On Wednesday, August 13 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm MT, join NSF NCAR’s High Altitude Observatory (HAO) for a virtual event. The talk is entitled "Is the Jovian inner magnetosphere interchange unstable?" The speaker is Binzheng Zhang from the University of Hong Kong.

Jupiter's inner magnetosphere, a dynamic region extending 20-30 times Jupiter's radius, is uniquely structured by centrifugal forces and moon-sourced plasma. The presentation will discuss recent high-resolution global and regional simulations of the Jovian magnetosphere.
