From Sunday, June 21, to Friday, June 26, join the Cooperative Programs for the Advancement of Earth System Science (CPAESS) for the
2026 NSF CEDAR Workshop.
CEDAR, or Couplings, Energetics, and Dynamics of Atmospheric Regions, is a community studying the space-atmosphere interaction region.
This multi-day community workshop focuses on space physics and upper-atmosphere aeronomy. The event includes community-organized breakout workshops, plenary sessions, agency updates, and active student poster sessions. It provides an essential space for scientists to self-organize, exchange ideas, and foster new collaborative research pathways.
The workshop will be held in person at the Iowa Events Center, located inside the Convention Center at 730 3rd Street in Des Moines, Iowa. Individual workshop conveners have the option to include virtual components, and participants should check the online agenda for specific Zoom links.
Registration for the entire event closes on Friday, June 26.
