Don’t miss the Chameleon user meeting in Boulder, April 15-16!

April 2, 2026

Chameleon Cloud, in collaboration with project partner NSF NCAR, will host its sixth user meeting at the Mesa Lab in Boulder, CO, from Wednesday, April 15 to Thursday, April 16.

The meeting features the timely theme: “What infrastructure does AI research and education really need?” Keynote speakers include Argonne National Laboratory’s Dr. Valerie Taylor and Chameleon Lead PI Kate Keahey.

Chameleon, an NSF-funded national resource, offers free GPUs, edge devices, and cloud infrastructure for CS research, education, and emergent applications. Current and new users—researchers, educators, and students—are invited to attend.

The event features presentations on AI advancements with Chameleon, focusing on sustainable infrastructure, federated learning, and AI education. It also includes expert-led mini-symposia on AI, education, and reproducibility, and hands-on tutorials covering all Chameleon features (GPUs, CHI@Edge, Trovi artifact packaging).

This event is a great opportunity to network with Chameleon's community of over 13,000 users, and features an optional hike near the Flatirons.
