From Monday, April 27 to Friday, May 1, join UCAR’s Cooperative Programs for the Advancement of Earth System Science (CPAESS) for the
2026 Space Weather Workshop.
This annual gathering, which started in 1996, brings together industry, academia, and government agencies to discuss the impacts of space weather on modern technology, including communications and power systems. The program focuses on bridging the gap between operational services and research to develop high-value capabilities for real-world applications.
Register by Friday, April 17. Options range from $50 for virtual student access to $500 for the full workshop. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
This event is co-sponsored by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Space Weather Prediction Center, the National Science Foundation (NSF) Division of Atmospheric and Geospace Sciences, and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Heliophysics Division.
