Register by 5/22 for the June Project Pythia Cook-Off

April 2, 2026

Join us in-person for the Pythia Cook-Off 2026 at the Mesa Lab in Boulder, CO, from Monday, June 15 to Thursday, June 18.

Project Pythia invites participants of all skill levels—students, researchers, developers, and professionals interested in geoscientific Python and open science. This event is a unique opportunity for both seasoned coders and newcomers to learn, collaborate, and enhance Python, communication, and educational skills while contributing to open-source resources.

Register here for the Cook-off. The deadline for registration is Friday, May 22.

Seeking Content Experts and Technical Coordinators! The event needs content leaders for Pythia Cookbook breakout sessions and hackathon projects. Ideal projects are focused, practical, and collaborative. Leaders will shape goals, mentor participants, and develop open, reusable content. Share your reproducible Earth science workflow ideas in the registration form. We also seek technical facilitators with git/GitHub skills for group support.

Please indicate your interest in either role via the registration form, or contact CISL_Events@ucar.edu with questions.
