NeurIPS 2025 - Free Livestream “Tackling Climate Change with Machine Learning” Workshop

This week Dec 2nd through 7th is the NeurIPS 2025 conference, a premier academic gathering for the AI community. This year, with support of the Climate Change AI organization, the workshop “Tackling Climate Change with Machine Learning” will offer a free livestream, intended to be publicly available directly on the workshop webpage. The workshop takes place Sun December 7th 9am to 6pm MST.

The workshop welcomes keynote speakers Bichlien Nguyen (Microsoft Research) and Prof. Duncan Watson-Parris (UC San Diego). Specifically, a first panel at 12-12:40pm MST will discuss “Methodological Trade-Offs in Machine Learning for Climate Change” and a second panel 4:10-4:50pm MST will discuss “Nurturing Colaborations”. All accepted Papers, Proposals, and Tutorials are listed on the workshop webpage. More information was shared here and livestream on the workshop day will be enabled and made available at climatechange.ai/events/neurips2025
