Attend a seminar on climate projection uncertainty

October 1, 2025

On Wednesday, October 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. MT, join NSF NCAR’s Cooperative Programs for the Advancement of Earth System Science (CPAESS) for a virtual seminar. The talk is entitled "The Role of Observation-Based Data in Local Climate Projection Uncertainty." The speaker is Graham Taylor, a former CPAESS Postdoctoral Researcher at NOAA Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL).

The talk will discuss methods for translating coarse-resolution climate models into actionable data. Dr. Taylor will also discuss how he evaluated methods to answer the question, “What methods are fit for what purpose?”

The seminar will be a virtual event; join here. The talk will also be recorded and posted on the CPAESS YouTube Channel.
