On Wednesday, September 17, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm MT, join NSF NCAR’s Cooperative Programs for the Advancement of Earth System Science (CPAESS) for a seminar with Dr. Raphael Dussin, CPAESS Associate Scientist IV at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory (GFDL). The talk is entitled "Freshwater Forcing of Ocean Models."
Dr. Dussin works on numerical ocean modeling using the MOM6 code, with a focus on mixing parameterizations and air/sea fluxes. In his presentation, Dr. Dussin will review some of the corrections made to atmospheric variables by the oceanographic community, with a focus on freshwater fluxes.
