Each year, NSF NCAR provides computing resources, services, and support to tens of thousands of researchers worldwide. The NSF NCAR Town Hall will highlight some of the most exciting new developments in our cyberinfrastructure for empowering earth system science. We will provide high-level overviews, plans for future directions, links for more detailed information, and we graciously ask for feedback from the earth system science community.
The Town Hall will feature Thomas Hauser (Director of CISL, the Computational and Information Systems Lab), as well as NSF NCAR researchers John Clyne, Nihanth Wagmi Cherukuru, David John Gagne, Ben Kirk, and Douglas Schuster.
The 2024 meeting of the American Geophysical Union (
AGU) will occur from Dec. 9 to Dec. 13 in Washington, D.C.—and online everywhere—with the theme of “What’s Next for Science.”
