Registration is open for the virtual and free to attend the
2024 Open Accelerated Computing Summit to be held Dec. 10–12. If you have conflicts due to AGU, keep in mind that registrants will be sent session recordings after the summit. Some sessions that may be of interest to the NSF NCAR community include:
- How Open Hackathons Facilitated a Large Positive Impact on the ExaWind Project (Jon Rood - NREL)
- Portability of Fortan's ‘DO CONCURRENT’ on GPUs (Ronald Caplan - Predictive Science)
- Accelerating Multiple PDE-based Wave Simulations by Concurrent CPU-GPU Computing Using Directives (Kohei Fujita - U. Tokyo)
Many of the summit’s sessions result from progress made at Open Hackathon events, such as the upcoming
NOAA / NCAR / NREL Open Hackathon for Feb. 2024 with an application deadline of Dec. 4th (extensions by request only).
Please reach out to
Daniel Howard if you have any questions about participating.
