Traveling NSF NCAR exhibit shines a spotlight on hyperlocal climate change issues

September 5, 2024

Real People, Real Climate, Real Changes is a traveling climate exhibit originating at NSF NCAR in 2019. It has been traveling since early 2020, next going to Cathedral City, CA.

The exhibit showcases how climate change affects people around the country and world, and how to take action. A primary goal of the exhibit is engaging with the public—visitors can share their own personal experiences, observations, and perspectives. The exhibit team works with each host location to co-design content that reflects local climate issues and voices.

Will the exhibit arrive at a location near you? Check out the exhibit location page to track where it’s been and where it’s going. The exhibit is also available to be hosted in the future.

Whether or not you are at the exhibit, join the national conversation on social media by posting your climate story with the hashtags #MyClimateStory and #NCARTravelingClimate.
