Register by this Friday 8/23: virtual workshop series on policy, ethics, and climate intervention

Join an NSF-funded series of virtual workshops in October and November to help shape the governance framework around climate change.

The all-virtual series, “Exploring the Ethics and Societal Interactions of Climate Intervention,” will take place on October 15, 18, 22, and 25; and November 18 and 21, 2024.

The series will focus on Solar Radiation Management (SRM) and Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) technologies—exciting approaches to mitigate climate change that can also result in unintended consequences, and require weighing the risks and the benefits.
