Cheyenne Countdown: Time to say your final farewells to Cheyenne.

December 7, 2023

Cheyenne users now have less than a month to say goodbye to Cheyenne.

Cheyenne will be retired on the last day of the year: December 31, 2023. This means that all users must wrap up their projects on Cheyenne by that time. That means it’s a great time to transition your computing projects to Derecho.

Even more importantly, if Cheyenne experiences a crash or power loss from this point forward, it might not be restored—so an end-date for Cheyenne is possible even sooner than December 31.

The Consulting Services Group (CSG) can help you make the transition to Derecho. Connect with them through the User Support page in the ARC portal, or schedule a virtual or in-person consultation.
