Derecho’s Acceptance Test Phase (ATP) continued last week and the project reached a milestone when Accelerated Scientific Discovery (ASD) users were given access to the system on June 1 to begin building and running their models. While the vast majority of the benchmark results meet or exceed expectations, and the cumulative performance is meeting the required 3.5 CSEP metric, CISL continues to work with HPE engineers to tune the performance of three benchmark results that are falling slightly below expected performance. Barring any major issues, CISL will provide ASD users general-queue access to Derecho on Monday, June 5.
