After a lot of internal development, the new SAM web interface is ready for you to use: https://sam.hpc.ucar.edu. Sign in with your usual UCAR SSO and you'll land on a dashboard for your stuff. My Accounts lists every project you belong to, with allocated / used / remaining for each resource, how fast you're burning it, and when it expires. My Jobs gives you your recent job history on Derecho and Casper: activity over time, wait times, job sizes, and what each job actually charged. And if you've got files on /glade/campaign, My Data shows your biggest directories, how much space they're taking, and how long it's been since anything touched them.

One piece we're especially excited about is for project leads and admins: you can now manage your own project membership. The quickest path is right on your project card. Expand Project Members and hit Add Member. From that same list you can remove someone who's moved on or hand off the project-admin role, all without filing a ticket or waiting on us. One important caveat: this only works for people who already have an NSF NCAR HPC account. Creating a brand-new account still happens upstream of SAM, so send those requests to help@ucar.edu as always. But once someone exists in the system, adding them is very quick. (Do expect a couple of hours' lag between a change in SAM and it showing up on the HPC systems themselves.)

There is also a comprehensive System Status dashboard that shows the current and recent history of each resource.

Last thing, so we're clear about where this is heading: the legacy SAM at sam.ucar.edu is still running. But
sam.hpc.ucar.edu is where all the new effort is focused from here on, and we'll eventually retire the old one
(no date yet, but possibly before the end of the year). We have more features in mind, and supporting both
systems at once constrains what we can do, so some of those will land once the old system is retired.

So please poke at it, and if something looks wrong, confusing, or missing, reply in this thread. We'd much
rather hear about a rough edge now than have you quietly work around it forever.
