Watch a virtual seminar about the global atmospheric footprint of wildfires

On Wednesday, May 20, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm MT, join NSF NCAR’s Cooperative Programs for the Advancement of Earth System Science (CPAESS) for a virtual discovery seminar. The talk is entitled, “From Regional To Global: The Far-Reaching Impacts Of Wildfires On The Atmosphere And Climate.”

Dr. Yaowei Li will discuss how smoke from intense fires travels across the globe and alters the atmosphere. Dr. Li will share research on how large aerosol particles at high altitudes perturb the energy balance of Earth.
