Sign up for a May 22 new user training on HPC resources

On Friday, May 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. MT, join NSF NCAR’s Computational and Information Systems Laboratory (CISL) for the tutorial, “New User Training—HPC Resources.”

Daniel Howard of the CISL Consulting Services Group will introduce participants to the Derecho high-performance computing system and the Casper cluster, which are used for data analysis, visualization, and machine learning. The session will cover the basics of job submission in a batch environment, available data storage, and how to access these essential tools.

Register here by the end of the business day on Wednesday, May 20. This hybrid event is held in-person at the Mesa Lab Main Seminar Room and remotely via Google Meet. A link for virtual attendance will be sent to all registrants on Thursday, May 21.
