US CLIVAR Workshop: Submit abstracts and travel requests by May 11

The US CLIVAR Workshop on Quantum Computing and Sensing for Weather and Climate Applications will take place from Monday, August 3 to Wednesday, August 5, in Boulder, CO, and online. Join climate scientists and quantum computing specialists in bridging conceptual gaps and exploring pathways for integrating quantum computing and sensing into existing climate research frameworks. 

Interested in presenting a talk or poster at the workshop? Abstracts on the following topics will be accepted through Monday, May 11:

  • Quantum Computing for Earth System Models
  • Quantum Algorithms: Differential Equations
  • Quantum Algorithms: Optimization
  • Quantum Computing for Extreme Weather
  • Quantum Sensing for Weather and Climate Applications

Travel requests for students and early career scientists, defined as less than ten years since the latest degree, are also accepted through Monday, May 11.
