Funded Conference Opportunities for Students

Undergraduate and graduate students interested in the intersection of Earth system sciences and computational sciences are encouraged to apply to the following student facing programs for major upcoming conferences. Each offers registration and travel support for accepted applicants.

  1. SC26 Student Program
    • November 15-20th, 2026 in Chicago, IL
    • The SuperComputing26 (SC26) Conference is where the HPC community comes together to make technological and research progress, enlighten and empower all people, eliminate barriers to opportunities, and chart the course for computing’s impact in the world.
    • The SC26 Student Program empowers undergraduate and graduate students to contribute to the success of the conference while also receiving travel and registration support.
    • Application deadline: March 16th, 2026
