The next NCAR HPC User Group (NHUG) meeting will be held today, Monday, February 17, 2026, at 1:00 PM MST. All NCAR HPC users are welcome to attend!
This month's agenda includes announcements and updates, followed by a presentation on running MPAS-JEDI on Derecho. The talk will provide an overview of MPAS-JEDI and the MPAS-Workflow framework, highlighting how they support cycling experiments on NCAR's HPC system. Topics include MPAS-JEDI code compilation and testing, with an emphasis on building a complete end-to-end pipeline using MPAS-Workflow. Managed via CYLC, the workflow coordinates configuration, input preparation, and execution of forecasts and data assimilation cycles for both cycling and non-cycling runs. Integrated forecast and assimilation verification provides insight into experiment performance throughout the pipeline.
