NWSC maintenance and HPC systems work completed

August 2, 2021

The extended scheduled maintenance work at the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center concluded late Friday when the Cheyenne system was returned to service. The Cheyenne login nodes were released to users earlier in the day, as were the Casper, GLADE, Campaign Storage, JupyterHub, HPSS, Quasar, and Stratus systems.

Thank you for your patience during the week. CISL staff and contractors performed critical updates to the facility’s power infrastructure in preparation for the arrival of the new Derecho system later this year.
