2026 Argonne Training Program on Extreme-Scale Computing (ATPESC)

Doctoral students, postdocs, and early career scientists interested in conducting computational science and engineering research on large-scale computers are invited  to apply for the 13th annual ATPESC program. ATPESC provides intensive, two-week training on the key skills, approaches, and tools to design, implement, and execute computational science and engineering applications on current high-end computing systems and the leadership-class computing systems of the future.

This year's program will be held from Sunday, July 26 to Thursday, August 7, 2026 in the Chicagoland area. Eligibility information and application instructions may be found at extremecomputingtraining.anl.gov with deadline Wednesday, February 25, 11:59 PM AoE or Anywhere on Earth time (which translates to 4:59 AM MT on Thursday, February). A recommendation letter will be required with submission deadline March 4, 2026 at 11:59pm AoE.

Interested applications may also register for an informational session to be held virtually on Thursday, February 5, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM MT.
