Computing Research Association Widening Participation has opened registrations for a Virtual Early and Mid Career Mentoring Series, starting Thursday, October 16, evenings weekly through the end of November. This six-part series brings together accomplished speakers from academia, industry, and government labs to share their expertise on topics critical to your career development. Whether you’re transitioning into a new role, balancing work and life, or enhancing your teaching and collaboration skills, each session offers actionable guidance to support your success.
The series is designed for early- and mid-career researchers, junior faculty, and professionals who want to:
- Transition smoothly into academic, industry, or government roles
- Balance career growth with personal responsibilities
- Improve teaching effectiveness and support diverse student populations
- Collaborate with industry partners or explore entrepreneurial opportunities
- Strengthen teamwork, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
