As announced previously, all HPC compute and data storage systems hosted at the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center will be unavailable during part or all of a planned maintenance downtime beginning Monday, July 26. This maintenance window will allow CISL staff and contractors to perform critical updates to the facility’s power infrastructure in preparation for the arrival of the new Derecho system later this year.
The Casper cluster, GLADE file systems, Campaign Storage, JupyterHub, HPSS, Stratus, Quasar, and Cheyenne’s login nodes are expected to return to service by Thursday, July 29. Cheyenne’s compute nodes will remain unavailable throughout the service period, which is expected to last until Monday, August 2.
