Attend SC25 Pre-Conference Workshop TANGO@SC25 - Funding Available

August 21, 2025

The STEM-Trek nonprofit, in collaboration with Texas A&M University, the Conference on Next-Generation Arithmetic (CoNGA), and the South African Centre for High-Performance Computing (CHPC), will host the TANGO workshop November 14-15th ahead of the Supercomputing Conference, SC25, in St. Louis, Missouri. New and past attendees of SC25 are invited to attend the TANGO workshop and the following SC25 conference as part of this international community engaged in high performance computing.

TANGO, website here, is a celebration of non Traditional Architecture and Next-Gen Computational Orchestration. Participants will learn how Compute eXpress Link (CXL), RISC-V and Next-Gen Math are driving the revolution toward more energy-efficient supercomputers. The preliminary TANGO agenda includes a pre-workshop jetlag day Nov 14th welcoming both international visitors to adjust timezones and domestic participants to engage with the STEM-Trek community.

There is no cost to attend, and travel support is available for a limited number of accepted applicants for the workshop and full conference thanks to sponsorship from NSF, the SC25 Chairs, Texas A&M, and STEM-Trek donations.

Apply by August 31 and notifications will be sent by September 15. US-based candidates apply here while international candidates apply here.
