NSF NCAR’s Computational and Information Systems Lab (CISL) has launched a new section called IMPACT, which stands for Intelligent Methods, Prediction, Analysis, and Community Tools.
Led by John Clyne, the new section is an innovative effort to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) into Earth system science. IMPACT will focus on creating scalable and intuitive AI tools for the geosciences community, ultimately improving predictive understanding and informed decision-making in the study of our planet.
