Less than 70 days remaining for HPSS access

The HPSS tape archive storage system will be taken offline at 4 p.m. MDT on Friday, July 23, a few days earlier than previously planned in advance of the upcoming extended NWSC maintenance downtime. This means less than 70 days remain for users to access files on HPSS. 

Though time is growing short until the HPSS decommissioning on October 1, you can still accomplish a fair amount of file-copying between now and then. Currently, you’ll see a good turnaround because the HPSS is not very busy.
