All HPC resources will be down July 22-23 to allow for network upgrades required for improved Derecho file system performance as well as to perform PBS server and configuration upgrades.
Derecho, Casper, and JupyterHub will be down July 22 and 23. In contrast to typical outages, jobs still queued on Casper at the time of the outage will need to be resubmitted when the system returns to service. This is because PBS resource configurations will be changed in preparation for simplified selection processes, and these changes are not backwards compatible within the server configuration.
Globus will be briefly unavailable at the beginning of the maintenance window on July 22. Campaign Storage will remain up throughout the maintenance window, and can be accessed via Globus when available.
