NWSC Facility Maintenance is continuing throughout the week and progressing according to schedule.
As of 7AM MDT Wednesday June 4th all resources have been down and are expected to remain so until no-earlier-than Thursday morning. We have been using one of two redundant internal power feeds today to allow for electrical system maintenance. This configuration triggered an instability which has prevented us from keeping the file systems available for users as previously planned.
Thursday morning we will switch the configuration to the alternate feed so that similar maintenance can continue throughout Thursday. At that point we will be able to determine the timeline for restoring access - specifically, whether we can proceed to restore access using solely the alternate single feed, or if it will be necessary to wait for the completion of all electrical maintenance.
