Project Pythia is offering its annual
Cook-off hackathon for creating and maintaining Pythia Cookbooks. The event will take place from Tuesday, August 5 to Friday, August 8, 2025, in-person at the
NSF NCAR Mesa Lab in Boulder, CO.
Pythia Cookbooks are crowd-sourced collections of domain-specific tutorials and exemplar workflows, building upon our
Pythia Foundations tutorials, and supported by a rich GitHub-based infrastructure. Participants in the
Cook-off will develop their skills in contributing code and non-code to open source projects, demonstrating open science practices, and communicating and collaborating with other professionals.
Travel support may be available for a limited number of students and postdocs who reside in the US. The deadline to submit a Travel Support Application is Friday, June 20. Please indicate your support needs when you
register.
