Project Pythia releases new cookbook for the Digital Earths Hackathon

The Pythia team has released a new cookbook, the HEALPix Cookbook, for the WCRP Digital Earths Global Hackathon.

This resource introduces the Hierarchical Equal Area isoLatitude Pixelation of the Earth and guides you through using easy.gems and UXarray for data analysis and visualization on HEALPix datasets. 

Driven by the hackathon, this accessible cookbook offers reproducible workflows, runnable on Binder, benefiting both event participants and future collaborations. 

NSF NCAR will host one of the nodes of the global hackathon, which takes place Monday, May 12 to Friday, May 16 (registration has closed). Explore the HEALPix Cookbook with Project Pythia!
