On May 9, see supercomputing up close in an on-site NWSC tour (Cheyenne, Wyoming)

In honor of the 75th anniversary of the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), the NSF NCAR Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC) will host two special tours of its world-class data center. 

The tours will last approximately one hour and are scheduled for Friday, May 9 at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm MT. The location is the NSF NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center, 8120 Veta Drive, Cheyenne, WY. 

The general public (9th grade and above) is invited to explore the data center that houses the powerful supercomputer, Derecho, and learn about the infrastructure that supports its groundbreaking work in understanding the atmosphere and related Earth system.  

Please note that space may be limited. No sandals or heels please.
