On Wednesday, October 30, at 12:00 pm MT, join a seminar called “Advancing Actionable Hydrometeorological Climate Change Research,” hosted by NSF NCAR’s Research Application Laboratory (RAL).
In the
seminar, Andy Newman of NSF NCAR will discuss partner-driven science to develop new datasets and understanding of regionally focused hydrometeorological climate change impacts. Recent advances are now poised to move to communities or to formal agency guidance tools. Dr. Newman will discuss the culture of trust that enabled these advances through honest conversations, and potential future research areas.
The seminar is hybrid: virtual participants can
watch live here, while in-person participants can attend at the NSF NCAR Foothills Laboratory’s Large Auditorium room, FL2-1022.
This event is part of the
RAL Seminar Series, which takes place every 2 weeks on Wednesdays.
