Register for the Generative AI Workshop Series starting in October

September 27, 2024


The GenAI workshop is a hybrid workshop that will span across several sessions over the next few months. The kickoff session is Wednesday, October 9th, 2–4pm MT. 

The kickoff session will feature a keynote session by Dr. Tisha Henderson, Ed.D., who directs Microsoft Modern Works for US Academics West. She will discuss AI fundamentals and history, provide an overview of AI tools, and discuss the future of AI in computational and information systems. Followed by the keynote session, Julio Guzman of Microsoft will give an introduction of GitHub CoPilot. 

Future sessions in the workshop series will include sessions focused on the Ethics of Generative AI and using GitHub CoPilot for various coding tasks.

Register for the workshop series as soon as possible to stay up to date on all workshop sessions!
