Derecho Cooling System Maintenance - Tuesday, July 2

Derecho maintenance will occur as regularly scheduled for the first Tuesday of the month, July 2nd, from approximately 7am to 7pm.  This outage is necessary to complete cooling system components and has been scheduled in conjunction with vendor availability.

During this time, all Derecho login and compute nodes will be unavailable. Shared file systems will remain available throughout the maintenance.   Scheduler reservations will be put in place to ensure that all user jobs have completed by July 2 as the downtime begins. Any jobs that are queued on Derecho when the downtime begins will be retained for execution when the systems return to service.

Progress will be communicated through the Notifier system throughout the course of the outage.
