NSF Workshop on Sustainable Computing for Sustainability

The National Science Foundation is inviting applications for NSF-WSCS 2024, NSF Workshop on Sustainable Computing for Sustainability, held April 16-17th, 2024 at NSF Headquarters in Alexandria, VA. The program will follow a hybrid format with in-person attendance limited to 100 participants with eligible travel costs covered. Detailed here are the themes for participation, also summarized below:
  • Sustainable food supply
  • Digital manufacturing and construction
  • Climate modeling
  • Environmental impact of computing
  • Computing lifecycle

The primary purpose of this call for submissions is to help NSF identify a diverse and complementary set of attendees so as to ensure a productive workshop. Interested individuals should submit a statement of interest before February 15, 2024, AoE.
