It’s almost time for the annual Thanksgiving feast! This year, we recommend you enjoy all that celebration with a generous helping of migration.
Cheyenne is retiring very soon—December 31, 2023—to be replaced by Derecho, a new supercomputer 3.5 times as powerful. Isn’t progress great?
However, all Cheyenne users must transition their supercomputing projects to Derecho by 12/31, or risk losing their hard-earned runs. CISL cannot provide anyone with special priority to complete last-minute work.
Other ways to get help with the switch:
- Visit this help page for the primary steps on making the transition.
-
Watch this video from an August training session—see “Workflow Migration” starting at 1:53:37.
- You can also review the presentation slide deck—slides 75–76 cover workflow migration.
CSG will consider requests for additional core-hours on Derecho to help with the move. If you need additional hours or have other concerns, speak to a
Help Desk representative today.
