Derecho to Open to All Projects and Users August 9

As the Accelerated Scientific Discovery (ASD) period winds down, Derecho general user access is targeted to begin on Wednesday, August 9.

CISL will begin accepting requests for transfers of Cheyenne allocations to Derecho and small Derecho allocation requests on August 1. Visit the Allocations area of the ARC portal to transfer core-hours or to request an allocation. Users are encouraged to begin exploring the system as soon as their allocation allows.

CISL is planning several hybrid event training sessions introducing Derecho, including hands-on sessions, beginning on August 16, with registration details to follow.
