Derecho’s Acceptance Test Phase (ATP) was resumed after CISL and HPE engineers significantly reduced job performance variability through some tuning and configuration changes. Additionally, HPE and CISL have been able to maintain an availability of 98% for the compute resources during this testing phase. While the vast majority of the benchmark results meet or exceed expectations, CISL is working with HPE engineers to tune the performance of three benchmark results that are falling slightly below expected performance. CISL plans to provide Accelerated Science Discovery (ASD) users interactive access to Derecho beginning June 1 and general-queue access by June 5.
