Survey seeks data on scientists’ research software funding needs

A survey by the Research Software Funders Forum is focused on understanding the needs of scientists with regard to funding the development and enhancement of research software and associated ecosystems, including training, education, and policy. The goal is to strengthen the software infrastructure aimed specifically at supporting research.

The survey is estimated to take about five minutes. Data from the survey will be used to craft a joint multilateral funding initiative and eventually create a call for projects with international collaboration, where the most important result of the projects will be robust software that other researchers can use.
