Recent graduates of doctoral programs can now apply for the annual
COSMIC Postdoctoral Fellowship Opportunity for supporting and encouraging the advancement and application of Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) remote sensing for Earth science.
The UCAR COSMIC program appointment will provide a career development opportunity to conduct research related to the COSMIC-2 mission or other radio occultation satellites. The fellowship program is designed to support early career scientists who are interested in GNSS remote sensing and seeking to develop their careers by conducting self-directed research with a group of scientists whose research interests include new retrieval technology, space weather, numerical weather prediction, and weather and climate processes.
Applications will be accepted until December 31, 2022.
