Registration is open for another session in a series of workshops and tutorials on GPU computing. “Multiple GPUs in Python with Dask” will be on Thursday, August 11, at 10 a.m. MDT. Please
use this form to register by August 8 if you plan to attend and have not already registered for the series.
The series of one-hour sessions is for scientists, software engineers, and students in the Earth system sciences to help them prepare to use the extensive GPU-computing capabilities of the new Derecho system.
Topics to be covered in this session include:
- NumPy/CuPy arrays and Dask arrays
- Pandas DataFrames and Dask DataFrames
- Specifying GPU devices per Dask worker
- Dask computing example walkthrough
