VAPOR tutorial scheduled for August 23

CISL is hosting a 90-minute virtual tutorial at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, for the upcoming VAPOR 3.7 release. The recommended VAPOR workflow will be reviewed, along with principles for visualizing 3D simulation data. Topics to be covered also include:

  • How to import data into VAPOR
  • Creating 3D animations 
  • How to use the new Python API, which allows for scripted visualizations that can run alongside simulation processes

There are no prerequisites for this tutorial. If you would like to follow along, you can download VAPOR here and download sample data here.

Please register by August 21. Information about how to attend will be provided in August.
