Registration is open for another session in a series of workshops and tutorials on GPU computing. “Verifying Code Correctness with PCAST” will be on Thursday, May 19, at 10 a.m. MDT. Please

The
series of one-hour sessions is for scientists, software engineers, and students in the Earth system sciences to help them prepare to use the extensive GPU-computing capabilities of the new Derecho system. Topics to be covered in this session include:
- Benefits and challenges of validating scientific software
- Usage of Parallel Compiler Assisted Software Testing (PCAST) – Comparing CPU and GPU code execution; PCAST with a golden file; and PCAST with OpenACC and autocompare
