TOMORROW: Join the next GDEX Discovery Series session!

Join the next session of the GDEX Discovery Series on Wednesday, August 12, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm MT. This month’s session features Harsha Hampapura, who will present on the Open Science Data Federation (OSDF). 

This month’s topic: Have you ever wondered how GDEX serves data efficiently to users around the world? We collaborate with the OSDF—a content distribution network for science that caches frequently used data closer to where it's needed. In this GDEX Discovery Series talk, we explain how the OSDF works and how it helps you stream geoscience data from GDEX straight to your laptop or HPC system.

About the GDEX Discovery Series: These informal, one-hour virtual workshops are open to everyone—both inside and outside NSF NCAR. Each session includes a GDEX overview; a deep dive into the monthly topic; live hands-on walkthroughs; and an interactive Q&A driven by your questions.
