Final Reminder for AMS 2027 Submissions - 13th AMS Symposium for HPC for Weather, Water, and Climate

The deadline for abstracts to be submitted for the AMS 2027 conference is rapidly approaching on August 11, 2026 at 5PM ET / 3pm MT. AMS has indicated this year that the abstract submission deadline is FIRM and will NOT be extended.

Researchers utilizing NSF NCAR HPC systems including Derecho and Casper may specifically be interested in the 13th AMS Symposium for High Performance Computing for Weather, Water, and Climate, with full symposium details linked here. Proposed session topics are summarized below:
